What is Qadence?

What is Qadence?

Before we tell you what Qadence is, let’s start with what it’s not.

Qadence is not a project management tool.

Now, before you roll your eyes or say “what” a bit too loudly, relax. We’ll explain.

Most tools help you list work. Qadence helps you see if the work is actually working. In a world obsessed about busyness, it can be easy to get sucked into creating to-do lists that you don’t complete or hustling all in the name of work. At Qadence, we believe being busy is not the same as building and Qadence helps you see this.

So, what is Qadence?

Qadence is the work app for teams building something real with tangible results. Qadence helps ambitious teams stop running on adrenaline and start building with intelligence.

It gives you a clear, shared view of:

  • What’s actually on track

  • What’s drifting (quietly)

  • What’s stuck (but nobody has said it yet)

  • What this week is really about

  • What the end goal would be from the first week of work.

The greatest task in the Qadence universe is not to help teams do more. It is to help them understand what all their doing is becoming.

How Qadence works

Qadence is intentionally simple. Not because work is simple, but because confusion is expensive.

1. See only what matters

A single view shows every project’s status, time elapsed, and progress. No digging. No decoding dashboards.
Just: Are we moving or not?

2. Perform in cycles

Work happens in focused windows, not endless timelines. You set a duration using "Cycle length", define a goal in "Cycle objective", and align the team around it.

Everyone knows:

  • What this cycle is for

  • What success looks like

  • What can wait

3. Spot risk early

Qadence surfaces what’s drifting before it becomes a problem you have to explain. Most delays don’t start loudly, they start small, and then compound quietly.

What this means for your team

You stop relying on memory, check-ins, and “just trust me.” Everyone sees the same reality early enough to actually do something about it.

Q: Is Qadence a project management tool?
A: No. Project management tools track what needs to be done.
Qadence shows whether things are actually moving in the right direction. If your current setup tells you tasks are completed but not whether progress is real, that’s the gap.

Q: Who is Qadence for?
A: Honestly, anyone. If you consider yourself a builder or need help seeing the results for your work, then Qadence is for you. However, we also thought of small teams (usually under 20) who are:

  • Building products, companies, or serious projects

  • Juggling multiple moving parts

  • Quietly relying on one person to hold everything together

Q: Do I need operations experience to use Qadence?

A: No. Qadence is for teams before they become “operationally mature.”
It gives you structure without turning your work into admin.

Q: What’s the payment structure?
A: Qadence is currently FREE. We know how costly it is to build, and we wanted to give you a safe landing while you build.

Q: What if we don’t update things regularly?
A: Then Qadence reflects that. Qadence shows you when visibility is breaking
